Meet the partners: Impact Hub SB

As a certified Società Benefit, Impact Hub SB supports organisations in integrating social and environmental goals into their core business models.

The organisation works with companies—including those in the agrifood and wine sectors—to guide their transition toward the Società Benefit model under Italian Law 208/2015. This includes helping organisations define ESG objectives, update their statutes, and measure their impact through structured Impact Reports. Impact Hub SB also provides technical expertise in areas such as carbon footprint analysis, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), ISO certifications, and Gender Equality certification—tools that help businesses build truly sustainable and inclusive strategies.

Expertise in inclusion, equity, and sustainable business

Impact Hub SB combines expertise in female entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and workplace equity. One of its flagship initiatives is Angels4Women, the first Italian network of women business angels, co-founded with AXA Italia. Through this initiative, the organisation supports women-led startups by improving access to investment and mentorship.

Impact Hub SB also creates spaces for dialogue and professional growth that connect innovation with inclusion. For example, it hosted B Come Bright – Il Lato B del Rischio Imprenditoriale, a participatory workshop organised by Mind the Gap, designed to explore entrepreneurship through an inclusive lens and ensure that diverse voices are heard equally.

In addition to these initiatives, Impact Hub SB provides consulting services focused on Gender Equality certification, ESG strategy development, and impact measurement. These services give organisations practical tools to transform inclusion values into measurable, long-term change.

Supporting women’s economic empowerment

A concrete example of Impact Hub SB’s commitment to gender equality is the series of financial literacy workshops it hosted, primarily aimed at women. These workshops address the persistent gender gap in access to financial knowledge and investment culture—a structural barrier to women’s economic independence.

Together with initiatives such as Angels4Women and the B Come Bright workshop, these activities reflect Impact Hub SB’s broader philosophy: inclusion is not only a principle but a practice, built step by step through education, community engagement, and investment in women’s potential.

A vision for inclusive vineyards

Impact Hub SB joined Grapes of Change because it believes that meaningful impact must reach everyday workplaces—including those in agriculture and wine production.

“At Impact Hub SB, we believe impact goes to work every day: in offices, labs, and yes, in vineyards too. Grapes of Change resonates with us because it brings the conversation about safety, dignity, and inclusion where it is needed most, in the places where people actually work with their hands and their whole selves.”

Through the partnership, Impact Hub SB hopes to see the wine industry evolve into a model for inclusive workplaces where every worker—regardless of gender, background, or contract type—feels safe, respected, and valued.

This vision includes zero tolerance for harassment and discrimination, stronger representation of women in leadership roles, and a cultural shift that begins at the ground level of the industry. Just as the wine sector has embraced innovation in sustainability, Impact Hub SB believes the same entrepreneurial energy can and should reshape the human dimension of the industry, creating safer and more equitable working environments across the entire supply chain.
